Beach Day

Today at Sunny’s Gymnastics class it was “beach day”. Okay, Beach Day? Do they really need to torture us more than we already are; its 34 degrees outside with 9 inches of snow on the ground. I think they are out to make us mad. Little kids in hats and big winter jackets come running in with a beach towel, sunglasses and hats.


So here they are, 16 four and five year olds imagining they are on a snow covered beach somewhere, listening to beach music and pretending they are swimming in a sea of blue foam.

They could have waited until the snow melted..
